Csygnus started in 2001 with the name "Cursed". It was in 2001 too i started to build my own studio outside my house, with grass and trees all around. It's a one-man project not because i'm selfish or egocentric, but because i never found anyone to play music with me. My style of music at this time wasn't the most wanted ... at least. So i had no choice to play everything by myself. Meanwhile i was very busy with my other band : Modern Cubism (electronic/atmospheric music with Jean-Luc Demeyer singing Charles Baudelaire poetry). Now Csygnus is about to be achieved too. So who are we ... And who would play on stage ?

As an experimented drummer, he started more than 20 years ago in some back garages and caves with several bands (including most significant ones like Inlandsis and Buffet Froid) playing different styles (new-wave, electro-pop, french rock, alernative rock). During those years, he begins to develop his arranger & compositor skills. Thirsty for discovered and experiments, he collaborates in composition intended for theatres and radios. Some musical influences start with Anne Clark, Visage, Eyeless In Gaza, Cocteau Twins, Kraftwerk, John Foxx,... to others like Queen, Pink Floyd, The Police, Peter Gabriel, Telephone, Trust, Axel Bauer,.... | | | | |
